Have a gift you want to showcase? Or just want to see others perform? Students will get a chance to see some of their peers’ unique talents. Singing, dancing, comedy, or magic, ALL talents are welcome!

    • Description: Join the Center for Wellness every Monday over Zoom for an engaging Pilates class. The Pilates method builds energy and ease in breath and movement, enhancing good body mechanics, concentration, posture and balance. This mat-based class incorporates exercises designed to strengthen the body, improve posture, and locate flexibility. Both experienced pilates students and newcomers are welcome.

    • Description:  Do you feel stressed? Come hang out with members of the summer school staff to create and engage in easy ways to make tools to have at your fingertips! We will show you a range of tools that you can have on your desk in high school, college, and beyond! Come be creatively content with us and create playdough, colorings and zen gardens!

    • Description:  Join the Center for Wellness every Monday for an engaging Slow-Flow yoga class. Build strength, mobility, and balance while developing self-awareness and mental focus. This moderately-paced class explores creative sequencing of postures and breathing techniques to awaken energy in the body and calm the nervous system. Class will end with a deep relaxation. Perfect for beginning and experienced students alike, this class is highly inclusive. No previous yoga experience is necessary.

    • Description:  Join the Center for Wellness every Wednesday for an engaging Tai Chi class. Tai Chi Chuan (Supreme Ultimate Fist) is an ancient Chinese martial art that in modern times has become misunderstood as only a wellness practice. Better understanding the martial roots of the arts, as well as the underlying philosophical and energetic concepts of Yin and Yang, substantial and insubstantial, and Yang's Principles, will lead to better Tai Chi Chuan practice. This series will open the door to better core strength, balance, coordination, mental centeredness, and other improvements to overall wellness. No previous experience necessary.
